At Lilboo, we believe you should have full control over your data. This Data Deletion Policy explains how you can request the deletion of your account and personal information, what happens when you do, and what exceptions may apply.
1. How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your Lilboo account in one of the following ways:
• In-App Deletion: Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account in the Lilboo app and follow the confirmation steps.
• Support Request: If you are unable to access your account, you can email us at [Lilboo-support@aliboo.com] using the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and include your username and the email linked to your account.
2. What Happens After Deletion
Once your deletion request is submitted:
• Your account will be deactivated immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion.
• We will delete or anonymize your personal data, including your profile information, posts, comments, saved media, and account credentials.
• Other users may still see content you've interacted with (e.g., replies or mentions), unless they also delete or update their content.
3. Grace Period
After submitting a deletion request, your account enters a 14-day grace period. During this time, you can cancel the deletion by logging back into your account.
After 14 days, your account and all associated data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted.
4. Exceptions: Data We May Retain
In some cases, we may retain limited information if:
• Required to comply with legal obligations (e.g., fraud prevention, tax, or audit purposes)
• Necessary to enforce our Terms of Service
• You previously gave explicit consent for longer retention (e.g., for moderation history or abuse investigations)
Such data is stored securely, with access limited to essential personnel and retained only as long as legally or operationally necessary.
5. Data Stored on Third-Party Platforms
If you made purchases through Apple App Store or Google Play, you must manage subscription cancellation and deletion directly through those platforms. We cannot delete billing records stored by third-party processors, but we do not retain payment credentials on our servers.
6. Deletion Requests Under Privacy Laws
If you're a resident of a jurisdiction with specific data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To make such a request, please contact us at [Lilboo-support@aliboo.com].
